yest was an all around good day.
carpool didn't take long

i had plenty of time
to pack a few boxes,

head to work with time to spare.
helloooo chick fil a diet lemonade...

TODAY, however...
i swear i noticed every.single.minute.
it was a short day (9 to 2)
but there were no customers...
hard to fill a day like that!!

but that's okay
ya know why?!

i got the job i was interviewing for!!

my fiesta find:


i am grateful.
we needed to move, but had 6 months left on our lease.
enter couple looking to move in as soon as we can move out.
we needed a house in a good school district for the girl
AND in warren district so the boy could continue attending there.
that house "dropped" in our lap the very same day.
applied for an office job.
attended interviews
interviews went well.
they scheduled me for third (and hopefully final) interview next week.
my gap schedule was already set. 
but miraculously the interview was scheduled an hour after i am done at gap.
the timing is impeccable. 
it has to be God, because i believe He freakin rocks.
there's one other thing, but i don't want to speak too soon,
so i'll leave it until it comes to fruition. (or not)

i'm off.
need to go buy paper and boxes
to pack.

I'm only good at being young.

it's 4:30
i am supposed to be cooking dinner.
however.
chef boyardee beat me to it.

i worked until 3
and by the time i got home
the girl one had made her own dinner.
i guess she's a sixty-five year old
in an eleven year old's body.
either that or she slept in
had a late breakfast
and decided to split the difference
and have a late lunch/early dinner.


either way,
it's cherry garcia frozen yogurt for me.

so today was a good day.
i had a nice short work day,

a pleasant interview.
(actually two rolled into one!!)
and there is an episode of
grey's anatomy on my dvr
as i type.

so what so i've got a smile on me.

my kid can play.
oh yeah.
i am so proud of this kid, i could pop.



last night was the guitar class' concert.
i was in awe the whole time.
that's two hours worth of awe, peeps.

my monday was spent running errands.
the dps gave my boy one his license.
we actually got him to school on time
even after the line at the dps!!



then i decided to try out my local
temp agency.
meh.
i don't think that's the way to go.
(she said it's slow right now)
so i will stay on at gap for the time
being.
i have one other application in...
fingers crossed because that's an office job!!
:) me likey.

after the temp agency i went
grocery shopping.
go me for refusing the plastic bags...
(i forgot my canvas ones!!)
i had them use boxes...
it was so easy to carry in my groceries.
two trips and i was done!!
AND
the recycling fairies left me two
new buckets!!
since my green tub usually runneth over...
you have no idea how happy this made me!!

the last stop before the carpool was
to the mechanics.
the boy one's toyota was making a noise...
you guessed it...
i walked out with a $1k estimate.

but my shoes were cute.

it's 730 am
and i am up and ready for the day...
my wonderful husband surprised me
this morning
by offering to take the girl one to school
so i could have my coffee at home this morning.
ahhh.
really, it's the little things that make me want to
squeeze him until he pops.

we are having a yard sale this weekend...
i am getting rid of sooo many things
i feel like i'll be liberated from the clutter

i feel like i've capped off
one of those weeks!

we've decided to move house in may
and we'll be losing about 900 square feet.
but we'll be in the school district we want
so at least that's a plus...

today was spent doing laundry
and cleaning...lil bit of packing...
as well as grocery shopping
and purging.

so now i'm taking a break from the chores
to blog.
and to polish off a pint of ben & jerry's
cherry garcia frozen yogurt...
