so this new job.
is intense.
i am hoping that it's only
that intense because it was
my first day.
i am one that has to do something well
or i don't want to do it at all.
memorizing the actions (f7 f5 etc)
is easy enough,
but when you add in the actual speaking...
that's when it got tricky.
anyone ever heard of yakima WA?
yeah.
me either.
so when i "got a call" and they were
looking for a number in yakima
i was thrown.
keep in mind i can only have 5-8 secs of dead air.
and i have to know what to say while i am searching.
see, looking it up, easy.
with words...well hopefully practice does make perfect!!
it was fun, though.
i think i'll like it.
:)

WTF? my brothers were stationed in Yakima, WA when they were in the Army about a zillion years ago...
too funny!
Do not panic, dooo nottt panic. Just remove the leaf and keep on walking.
Everyone is faking their job to some extent...
love the green!
Glad to hear the first day went ok, it always takes a little getting used to. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on out.
That does sound like it is stressful, at least in the beginning. I'm sure you'll do great at your new job, and it seems like it will be the kind of work that "stays at work." That's nice!
i'm sure you are rockin' the new jobbity..i did call center for almost two years, and it's easy and hard at the same time...just be natural when you're talking to people..seriously..people WANT to talk - they'll fill up the dead air for you.
yummy green!
